Wild Corridors of the Heart: a planthology for troubled times

In 2022 I attended the Community Herbalist Program at the California School of Herbal Studies. For my independent study project I wanted to explore the intersection of herbalism, grief, and the climate crisis. The result was Wild Corridors of the Heart: a planthology for troubled times. It is a culmination of a year of rumination, and the beginning of an ongoing journey into the depths of how humans experience and process change. I also wanted to explore plants as a visual art medium and so the art I created for this is a mix of pressed plant and paper collage, as well as botanical ink paintings. In addition I have included artwork and poetry created by dear friends, who have graciously contributed their voices to this conversation.
